Biography
Jason Francisco is a photographer, book artist and writer whose work concerns new critical approaches to documentary practices and the problems of visualizing historical memory.

Among his projects are Far from Zion: Jews, Diaspora, Memory (forthcoming from Stanford University Press); A Dialogue with Separation: Picturing an American Chinatown; A Place in the Periphery:Ý Rural India at the End of the Twentieth Century; The Outer World; and A Germantown Document

He teaches photography and visual studies at Rutgers University.
